CMD (craniomandibular dysfunction) describes functional disorders of the temporomandibular joint and chewing muscles. It can manifest, among other things, as jaw, head or neck pain, teeth grinding, tension or limited mouth opening. Targeted CMD treatment can help relieve these symptoms sustainably.

Gentle CMD therapy with an individually made splint

A central part of CMD treatment is the individually fitted occlusal splint. It is usually worn at night and relieves the temporomandibular joint, relaxes the muscles and protects the teeth from excessive strain caused by clenching or grinding.

The splint helps to:
